Dirk Lange, born and raised near Bonn in 1972, moved to Dresden after completing his studies in the Netherlands and has lived and worked there ever since.

From the very beginning, Lange has chosen the medium of drawing. These are not palm-sized drawings, which the artist is concerned with, but rather Lange goes into monumental dimensions, his works sometimes show sizes of up to 300cm height and/or width.
