Galerie Haas Zurich is looking for a motivated, committed and resilient person to join our team as:

Gallery Manager, 100%

Your tasks:

  • Organization and coordination of daily business including telephone switchboard
  • Material responsibility for national/international art transportation including customs formalities and warehouse management
  • Material responsibility for commission and loan contracts
  • Assistance with exhibition and event organization
  • Fair preparations and organization
  • Writing press releases and brochures
  • Database management
  • Reception of guests, deputizing in the absence of the director

Qualifications and professional experience:

  • Completed studies in art history/cultural management with very good administrative skills, possibly commercial training with a keen interest in art
  • Professional experience in the gallery sector desirable
  • High degree of flexibility as well as an independent, proactive, efficient and precise way of working
  • Comprehension and networked thinking
  • Absolute discretion
  • Experience with databases
  • Experience with common Office applications
  • Fluent German, preferably native speaker, fluent written and spoken English, any other foreign language an advantage

As an organizational talent, you know how to set the right priorities and don’t lose track of things even in hectic moments. You are also prepared to work extra hours beyond your normal working hours on vernissages and during trade fairs.
