Paintings from his last decade

Ten years after his last exhibition at Galerie Haas, Norbert Schwontkowski, who died far too early in 2013, will again have an exhibition in Zurich. Various aspects of his work, which remind us of his feeling for and curiosity about the daily miraculous, are the leitmotif of this exhibition. For it is and remains his peculiarity to filter out the unconventional and special from the everyday and to formulate it in a way that often touches on the absurd or surreal.
