I don’t know about you, ladies and gentlemen, but every now and then I like to watch American films from the 30s, 40s or 50s and let myself be transported to another time, even if it’s only for 2 hours. I love “Gone with the Wind” or the films with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall or cinema with Carry Grant and Katherine or Audrey Hepburn. There I find beautiful people, well dressed, who know how to behave and all this in fateful situations, sometimes acting melodramatically. And the best thing is that these films almost always close with a “happy ending”. That’s when I can really revel.
Kenton Nelson also loves these films and Kenton Nelson also likes to see elegantly dressed, well-acting people and makes them the subject of his pictures. And he does it in a masterly manner!
