Galerie Haas Zürich was founded in June 2003. Since the beginning of 2021 the gallery is under the leadership of Anna Helwing, after having been run by Dr. Erika Schlessinger-Költzsch for many years.
Committed to post-war and contemporary art, the gallery’s program is devoted to innovation and connoisseurship. In addition to established positions such as Maryan, Per Kirkeby, Carol Rama, Martha Jungwirth, Joan Snyder, Gary Kuehn, André Thomkins, Astrid Klein and Reinhard Pods, emerging talents such as Michael Müller, Sandra Vásquez de la Horra, Jonathan Wateridge, John Isaacs and René Wirths are also on view.
Galerie Haas Zurich also specializes in works of Modern Art with a focus on the work of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Max Beckmann, Otto Dix, Georges Grosz, Francis Picabia, Jean Dubuffet, Jean Fautrier, Hans Arp, Félix Vallotton, Augusto Giacometti and Ferdinand Hodler.
Each exhibition is accompanied by a publication. In addition to its regular program, Galerie Haas Zürich participates in international art fairs.
